Process
The Big Crafty is a juried event and there are always more applications than we have space for. We look for a unique point of view, work that keeps our event diverse and dynamic and is generally an antidote to mass-produced monoculture.

Fees
$15 to apply + $275 to participate. Some grant funds are available.

Artists
Our events feature ~185 artists across a wide range of mediums and styles.

Attendance
Our events usually attract 6,000-10,000 art lovers and a high number of return visitors. The “I’ve never missed one” contingent is strong!

Refunds
Your $15 application fee is non-refundable. After the registration deadline, we’ll be counting on your participation and in most cases will not be able to refund vendor fees. Please note also that if the event is cancelled due to events beyond our control, we will not be able to refund booth fees.

Getting Ready
Come prepared with everything you’ll need for your setup — tables, chairs, etc. If rentals are available for a specific event, that info will be included in your registration options.

Booth shares
Artists sharing booths can apply together or separately but should indicate their intention to share.

Indoor/Outdoor
Our events are held inside with the occasional possibility of a handful of outside spaces.

Spaces
The venue offers 8×10 spaces upstairs by the venue windows, 10×10 spaces in the venue arena, and some mixed size spaces.

Multiple space reservations can sometimes be arranged. Please get in touch if you need that option.

Booth location
Artists will have the opportunity to indicate preferred areas during registration, and we’ll accommodate requests as space allows. Placement maps will be sent shortly before the event.

Electricity
If you anticipate needing additional light and/or electricity, please let us know well ahead of time and plan to bring utility cables. Cables cannot cross walkways or otherwise impede movement. The venue assesses a separate fee for electricity access.

Parking
Street parking is free on Sundays, and there are several garages in the vicinity. You will receive loading/unloading instructions specific to your assigned space.
